Mohammed Al-Emadi was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) in 2019, and oversees the company’s strategic direction and operations. Prior to becoming CEO, Mohammed was Acting CEO from 2011 to 2019, demonstrating strong leadership during a period of significant growth. Mr. Al-Emadi was QSI’s Administrative & Government Relations Manager from 2007 to 2011. Prior to joining QSI in 2005, he was a Member of the Board of Directors and Administrative Director at Qatar Sports International from 2002 to 2005.
Mr. Al-Emadi is also serves as the Senior Executive of Premier Padel, contributing his leadership experience to the global growth and development of the sports property under QSI ownership since the launch of the business in 2022.
Mohammed Al-Emadi’s career began in 1987 when he was appointed as the Administrative and Executive Manager of the Qatar Tennis and Squash Federation (QTF), a position he held until 2002. From 1992 to 2002, he also served as a Board Member and Secretary General of the QTF.
During his time at the QTF, Mr. Al-Emadi played a key role in the delivery of all major Tennis and Squash events under the federation, represented the QTF in the Tennis Organizing Committee of the GCC, and was elected to the Board of Directors of the Arab Tennis Federation, where he served for three consecutive terms.
In addition, Mohammed Al-Emadi played a significant role in the development of Aldana Club, serving on its Board of Directors and Executive Committee, and was also a Member of the higher Organizing Committee of Qatar Sports Exhibition and Conference.
He graduated from Qatar University.
